AMPEL V1.1

Description

This is an "editor" (actually a program for entering data) for binary files printed in Happy Computer magazine. Each printed line from the magazine held 8 bytes in hex notation and a checksum. Chances of typos were very slim and you also had the option to stop entering at the beginning of each line and resume later. AMPEL (meaning "traffic light" in English) is a basic program that is only a loader for the real program in machine language.

AMPEL is Copyright 1985, 1986 Markt & Technik Verlag. Reproduced without permission.
